Public bug reported: Hybrid ISO CD-ROM devices do not appear in the list of (USB-) media neither on Ubuntu nor on Kubuntu. The ISO can therefore not be mounted by the desktopp user, but only by root on the command line.
All the details are described in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/510042 I don't understand, why that bug report has been closed without fixing the problem?!? There is a note to open a new bug report, well, here I open a new bug report for the same problemn, as required by Brad Figg (brad-figg). My ISO also contains HFS+Joliet+RockRidge (exactly as in the ticket mentioned before) and is created the same way as specified there for the same reason, we supported Linux/Mac/Windows, but for two years, we no longer support Linux only because of this annoying bug! ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/971487 Title: Hybrid iso image won't mount To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/971487/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
