I tried that build and I tried http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.3.1-precise/ with the same results. I am still getting data stoppage and now it happend 100% of the time. Every time I reboot, the machine connects to the wireless router but no packets go through. I want to be clear that this happens on the 3.3.1-precise kernel and the standard 3.2 based precise kernel (updated to the latest)
BTW, I have a MacBook Air that works just fine with the same router at the same time. One thing I tried was reboot the thinkpad and make sure connection is live but no packets. I restarted the router and waiting for the thinkpad to reconnect. Everything connects but the packets were still stuck so I am positive it is not the router. BTW, I erased everything to installed Ubuntu Precise Beta 2 from scratch when I did all the above. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/945344 Title: After laptop resumes, wireless connects but no Internet To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/945344/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
