Public bug reported: I have two screens in Twinview. On each screen there is a Gnome-Panel at the bottom, each with its own window-list applet. Simple enough. If I open a window and move it over the second screen, the window list (correctly) updates.
But if I then minimise the application, it and its window-list entry move over to the primary screen. Restoring the application from the primary window-list applet moves it back to the second screen. Steps for reproduction: - Prereqs: gnome-panel, compiz, two screens in Twinview - Create a new panel on second screen - Add Window List applet to new panel - Open any new window and move over to second screen - Minimise the window (in any way) - Glory as the window-list entry moves over to the primary window-list-applet. I should point out that this only seems to happen with Compiz. I admit I have very little understanding about how the window-list applet interfaces with the WM to get the lists of applications so this could very easily be a Compiz issue as much as it is a Gnome-Panel issue. Feel free to call me an idiot for filing it in the wrong place.
