Gutsy Gibbon CD Live 20070606 "can't access tty" same CD & Hard disk on IDE1 as originally reported error with Feisty at top of this post. Seems to make a lot of accesses to fd0 floppy which go zipping by the screen. break=top stops just after "can't access tty", modprobe piix gets "module piix not found". Edgy CD Live boots on same configuration just fine (except 1024x768 instead of 1280x1024). Attached is screen picture when break=top stops. Any way I can get more info? BTW, same 20070606 ran CD Live on another computer (except "persistent" seems to be still broken as in Feisty), also installed fine after some fumbling with sudo gparted. Cheers, Jerry
