Ok so this bug impacts 8 of us so far - how long does it normally take before anyone starts to look at these things.
I'm willing to help narrow down the root cause of this issue. Know my way round a unix box, can shell script etc. Just dont know much about ALSA and pulseaudio. Meanwhile I've got my teenage daughter moaning about how how rubbish linux is because they broke the sound on the last update. Maybe its time to go back to Microsoft and install Windows 7. That would be a shame. But a computer without sound these days is no fun at all. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/964554 Title: [CA0106 - CA0106, playback] No sound at all To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/964554/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
