Public bug reported: As per: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/spca5xx/+bug/70532
With the version of gspcav1 that ships with 7.04 (Fesity Fawn) I can no longer get CIF video from my Logitech Quickcam Chat (usb ID 046d:092e). Only QCIF works. The gconf key to switch in Ekiga is here:/apps/ekiga/devices/video/size. This is the equivalent of running: camorama -M. On the screen only the top half of the image shows up. It's the correct width and has just the top half of the normal height. The scale (x:y) of the video is correct. Imaging painting the bottom of your television screen black--the top half is fine and has the correct scale. An older version of the driver did support the larger size with this camera. The version was dated 2006 but I will have to look for it. ** Affects: spca5xx (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- CIF problem with new spca5xx/gspcav1 and Logitech Quickcam Chat https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/119132 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
