Public bug reported:

Description: Ubuntu precise (development branch)
Release: 12.04

liblzo2-2:i386:
  Installed: 2.06-1
  Candidate: 2.06-1
  Version table:
 *** 2.06-1 0
        500 http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

libuuid1:i386:
  Installed: 2.20.1-1ubuntu3
  Candidate: 2.20.1-1ubuntu3
  Version table:
 *** 2.20.1-1ubuntu3 0
        500 http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

PROBLEM:
Both installed libraries follow the convention:
/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libuuid.so.1 and /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libuuid.so.1.3.0
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/liblzo2.so.2 and
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/liblzo2.so.2.0.0

GCC linker does not recognize them.

SOLUTION:
Go the their folders and make a symbolic link for:
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/liblzo2.so and /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libuuid.so

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: amd64 cross i386 linker missing
