Hi Dawid, I believe this could be problem with Inkscape application which might be generation a wrong cups input file (pdf/ps) . hpcups filter accepts the raster file genereated by the ghostscript. GIMP might be generating the correct cups input file (pdf/ps) so it might be getting passed through hpcups filter.
May be somebody form Inkscape team can look into this.
