@Benjamin Drung , comment #8 Of cause .. here you go. If this is important, I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Beta 2 (nightly build) with vlc 2.0.1-4 If the bug isn't triggered after a minute - grab the slider - and try moving it - that should (at least in my case) - raise the bug.
