I haven't gotten to test this yet (need to flash an SD card with the right image first), but the issue is clear-cut enough that I can easily take this and mark the modemmanager task as Triaged and assign it to myself to check the IDs on my own board and add them to a blacklist rule for udev. To be done tomorrow or in the next few days to squeeze it in before the Precise release...
