Tried briefly in 12.04 beta2 as of today. It has certainly improved. Some notes:
* it now seems to obey window size preferences requests (e.g. 1024x768) set on the server * it makes an app window of this size, which can then be resized * if this window is maximised (as opposed to full screen) it is sized leaving the unity bar in place at the top * no cursor misplacement/offset problems seemed to occur in any of this * if the session requests full screen, it gets it. Desktop was all white until the screen was refreshed or areas redrawn/exposed. * I couldn't find a way to get out of the fullscreen session, e.g. to change to a different ubuntu desktop, even with the cursor on a second monitor, other than disconnecting from within the windows session. * if the preferences are set for relative sizes (e.g. 80% of screen) then the result appears to be calculated from the total size of multiple monitors, rather than the monitor the client app is going to appear on. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879237 Title: Unity does not allow citrix receiver remote desktop to open full screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz-core/+bug/879237/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
