Okay, a few more questions: 1) Your report mentions 12.04, 11.04, and then 11.10. Which version are you using?
2) The issue as it seems to me is that gnome-nettool, aka "Network Tools" shows you have eth0 and Network Connections does not. If you run ifconfig, do you see eth0? I'm trying to figure out if gnome-nettool is faking a connection or if Network Connections is confused. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/979015 Title: network adapter not showing in network manager applet To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-nettool/+bug/979015/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
