The current xorg.conf has been full generated by the amdaccel control panel, so no manual futzing. I commented out TargetRefresh and it didn't help. Removing xorg.conf, however, did. >From what I can tell, it was created because I wanted to have a dual monitor set up, and without tweaking it from the amdaccel app, I can't get more than 1600x1600 between both monitors, which makes it feel like 1994 all over again :) > Can you tell me more about the symptoms? It seems to happen with everything, not linked to a specific app. Images, text, all of it. If I scroll up and down, it fixes the corruption, but only until something draws itself again. > Can you reproduce this behavior with Unity2D or Gnome Classic (no > effects)? > > If you disable fglrx and boot with -ati, does the corruption still > occur? I haven't tried these, but am happy to if you think it'll add valuable information. -- Martin -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/978289 Title: Screen corruption after the latest upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/978289/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
