Public bug reported: When you run npm, it crashes every time. I Googled and it's Debian bug 664660. It was fixed in Debian by upgrading to a newer NPM, see Debian bug 622628.
I am using Precise (12.04) Beta 2, with updates as of 13 April 2012 at 15:30 UK time. Is it possible to take a newer NPM this close to the freeze? If not, perhaps NPM should be dropped from Precise. Shipping a broken package doesn't seem very useful... ** Affects: npm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: npm (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #622628 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=622628 ** Also affects: npm (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=622628 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/980908 Title: npm crashes when run To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/npm/+bug/980908/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
