After a little bit of googling, it's possible this could be related to this thread: http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-nfs/msg24949.html
As soon as the process hangs and the log messages start I'm seeing a constant 5-9 mbit of network traffic in both directions between the client and server. Looking in the server logs however, I don't see anything interesting. It's possible this is related to the server-side kernel (which is running linux-image-3.2.0-23-generic as well). Unfortunately I can't take the server down right at the moment to test it with a newer kernel fixes it. I'll try to get around to it in a few days. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/981278 Title: Kernel Oops - BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at ffffffffffffffb8; RIP: 0010:[<ffffffffa013e839>] [<ffffffffa013e839>] nfs_have_delegation+0x9/0x40 [nfs] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/981278/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
