@Daniel I have tried many configurations, from a single monitor (19") to 3 monitors (including large LCDs - 22", 40", 42", and different resolutions), and haven't noticed any difference any improvement or change, for good or bad, in performance. Performance used to be blazing fast, with and without external monitors, until the updates of Apr 15th. I've been testing this same hardware from OO Alpha to now, wen't through many NVidia drivers, and never had such a performance impact as I'm seeing now.
However, I completely agree: After the updates of the mentioned date, which triggered the problem here, reverting to previous NVidia drivers versions has not improved or fixed the problem for me. If other users are in fact fixing it by reverting to previous NVidia releases, I'm seeing some other problem.
