Evince's behaviour is the same as other apps, launched from Unity or from LXPanel. This bug was unsolved due to next migration of theme engine usage on Precise. I highly recommend you to update your system as soon as possible. Lubuntu does not use Adwaita engine anymore. on 12.04 version.
