I have ATI x200m and Ubunto 7.04. I noticed that after setting FGLRX_ACPI_SWITCH_POWERSTATES=true in /etc/default/fglrx the system didn't set the power automatically unless I issued "xhost +local:". I now try too seek how to issue that everytime an user logs in.
