yes, pm-hibernate works OK. And I must say that I know why this option is greyed (although it is not probably an intention) - when you hibernate it, it is really difficult to wake it up. The whole process of turning-on Ubuntu on Macbook with EFI is hard to understand and it is easy to get into another kernel -> reboot. I must say, that I newer got working EFI and I would really appreciate any help in this way, mr. Forshee :) So results - pm-hibernate works, the option is greyed out.
