A safe way to implement cacheFlush that would be to have a dummy implementation that does nothing (cacheFlush is completely unimportant when there is no JIT), with the following preprocessor goop (or something similar): #ifndef ENABLE_ASSEMBLER #error cacheFlush unimplemented for this platform #endif.
