Public bug reported: while in gnome-terminal i cant get any sound to play (used to be system beep) but was changed in favor of using the sounds located in system settings/sound/sound effects. however they dont work. i can play sound from a file or web browser like i can get aplay to play a sound but nothing in terminal itsself. The problem is also seen in irssi when im pinged nothing happens ecxcept high light
