Hi, I think the problem I was indicating has been solved by a subsequent update.
I was keeping this bug open to see if it surfaced again. And yes, only current workspace windows are being shown. Much to my disappointment. -----Original Message----- From: Sebastien Bacher Sent: 23 Apr 2012 16:01:05 GMT To: rishigad...@msn.com Subject: [Bug 978197] Re: Multiple windows task switching from unity panel broken. Thank you for your bug report, do you use unity 3d or 2d? Does it happen all the time with any application? The effect is only supposed to list instances on the active workspace, is it what happens? ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/978197 Title: Multiple windows task switching from unity panel broken. Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: If there are multiple windows of a program open, unity indicates them with the multiple dots under the related icon in the launcher. Clicking on the icon, ideally, moves to the "scale" mode, where in you would see all windows spread out. That's not happening anymore. 1. NOT all windows are shown. 2. Sometimes only two are shown. 3. On clicking on the window you want in the spread mode, the window is not necessarily brought to the fore front. 4. There is other funny behaviour involving multiple workspaces. If the windows are in multiple work spaces, then only the current workspace windows are shown.
