I have tried setting the CONFIG_HPET_EMULATE_RTC option and I still get these messages.
Below is "cat /proc/drivers/rtc": rtc_time : 10:50:40 rtc_date : 2007-06-11 rtc_epoch : 1900 alarm : 00:00:00 DST_enable : no BCD : yes 24hr : yes square_wave : no alarm_IRQ : no update_IRQ : no periodic_IRQ : no periodic_freq : 1024 batt_status : okay Which clearly shows the problem. Periodic IRQ is not set. The RTC driver test example out of the Documentation/rtc.txt file gives: RTC Driver Test Example. Counting 5 update (1/sec) interrupts from reading /dev/rtc: and then just sits there never to end. Is this the same for everyone else here. (I also have AMD64 x2 with nForce 4 m/b). (My problem doesn't appear on boot, but does when I install the ztdummy driver from the zaptel modules which I need to run asterisk). -- When using kqemu, rtc: lost some interrupts at 1024Hz. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/82149 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
