Mathieu, IMHO, Ikuya's patch is not affect ibus-daemon startup sequence. Because ibus-daemon was kicked by /etc/X11/Xsession.d/80im-switch, not .desktop file.
The patch provides workaround, " If user click the ibus icon, ibus- daemon will restart (and fix indicator problem)", not automatic care.
