Public bug reported: On April 23rd I updated my system. New versions of the kernel and linux- libc-dev were installed. Since the update I can't search in Synaptic - as soon as I type the second letter, it crashes. When I start Synaptic from the terminal I get a "segmentation fault" error message after the crash.
