This is in 12.04 Precise Pangolin. The System Settings->Appearance page
allows one to select a "Theme," but there is no longer any clue
available as to what these themes look like. There used to be some kind
of picture associated with each theme, that at least gave the poor user
some idea what each theme setting did. I guess now you have to try them
out, one by one, but that's very clumsy.
