Public bug reported:
In gnome 1.3.0+6ubuntu3 (ubuntu 12.04), pressing Print Screen key no
longer displays the "Save screenshot" window. There is only a flash and
nothing happens. The same applies to calling gnome-screenshot from the
terminal. The save window cannot be displayed by other means than
explicitly calling gnome-screenshot -i.
