In my Lenovo Ideacentre K330 the microphone does not work under 12.04,
REGARDLESS of whether I rely on the USB-based Logitech Quickcam
IM/Connect internal mike, OR I use a cell phone headset plugged into the
mike jack on the front of the computer. Anyway, why should it matter.
Mike doesn't work, period, and under ANY version of UBUNTU it should
work. So SOMEBODY needs to fix it. I would, but I haven't a clue how.

Furthermore, the Quickcam does not work in any of the UBUNTU
applications -skype, cheese, etc. In cheese, an image gradually fades
in, and then it freezes. and it reactivates for a moment if I cover and
uncover the lens, then it freezes for good. I have to restart the app
to make it work again. Under Skype the Quickcam does not work at all.

As far as I am concerned THESE ARE SERIOUS BUGS.

On top of that, I cannot get WINE properly to install and let me run
windows apps, OTHER than notepad. I used to work on some things
(version 9 or 10), but it's virtually useless now.

12.04 CLEARLY IS NOT READY FOR RELEASE to the general public.
