Hi, I have been an openSUSE (formely SUSE) user since ~2000. I am now trying Ubuntu (Kubuntu version) for professional reasons, however Hibernation is not working on my Acer Extensa 5620Z.
I have tryed both using the radeon driver and the fglrx driver, but to no avail. It seems to hibernate just fine and, when resuming, it loads the saved image until 100%, but then seems to lock with no information. I really need hibernation, as I have been using it for the last 2 years in openSUSE and am really used to it, as it increases my productivity in my professional activities. I can perform additional tests and provide information, just tell me what is needed. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350643 Title: [Acer Extensa 5620] hibernate/resume failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/350643/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
