Public bug reported:

After updating the system (Feisty) via the update-manager on 2007-06-12,
the system slows down after working 20 minutes and comes unresponsive,
may be because a memory leak in some on the packages updated. Inclusive
after changing to a console using Ctlr-F1, typing a key takes an
eternity.

The symptom comes using Firefox or Inkscape or Komodo Editor. Before the
update the system was run normally. This looks like a virus in Windows
Systems, where the system slows down because of the virus activity.

The packages updated are:

file 4.19-1ubuntu2 4.19-1ubuntu2.1
libmagic1 4.19-1ubuntu2 4.19-1ubuntu2.1
libexif12 0.6.13-5build1 0.6.13-5ubuntu0.1
libpng12-dev 1.2.15~beta5-1 1.2.15~beta5-1ubuntu1
libpng12-0 1.2.15~beta5-1 1.2.15~beta5-1ubuntu1
libgd2-xpm 2.0.34~rc1-2ubuntu1 2.0.34~rc1-2ubuntu1.1
