Modem is recognized as storage/CD only. Network Manager and Huawei - Mobile Partner fails to detect the USB modem. Apparently theis bug does + Mobile Partner fails to detect the USB modem. Apparently this bug does not happen on an upgraded system (previous to 12.04) but directly occurs on a fresh install.
