Thanks for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better.
I'm not able to replicate this behavior...
Out of curiositiy, if you go into "System Settings" > "Brightness and
Lock", do you have the option selected to "Require my password when
waking from suspend" ??
I've marked this incomplete pending further details, feel free to change
it back to "New" when you've updated the bug with the requested info. :)
