Public bug reported: When I select "Logoff..." from main KDE's menu, the dialog will appear - I can choose, what I want to do - to just "logoff", "reboot PC" , "turn off PC", ...
( In KDM I enabled GRUB menu support, so from the main KDM's login screen, when I click on "Reboot PC" and hold mouse, I can select to reboot to "Windows XP"... ) So when I click on "REBOOT" button and hold mouse button down, I can select to reboot to "Windows XP", too. But when I release mouse button, nothing happens. After I press ESCape, I am back in my user session. "Logoff..." from KDE's main button does not work any more. My friend told me, I should execute "kdeinit_shutdown" to safely logoff... But after I executed "kdeinit_shutdown", I have seen error window, that "ksmserver" made error. When I just click on "Reboot PC", everything works... :-( ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- KDE - reboot PC "to Windows XP" does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/120236 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
