I've been having some interestingly weird intermittent docky crashes
since installing xubuntu 12.04, so I've been running it with ulimit -c
unlimited lately.

Stack trace looks the same with the mono debugging symbols. If there are
some other symbols I should be installing to get more detail let me
know. Likewise, if anyone wants a 102.2 MB core file let me know.

may well be a mono bug, but that's baseless speculation on my part.
