The problem seems to depend on what kernel i am using. I installed Kernel 3.3.4 yesterday evening from here: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.3.4-precise/
And no more freezes since then. I was trying hard today to make my system freeze having many applications open including OpenGL, flash- videos, multiple pdf's at a time und office applications. I really haven't been able to make anything freeze. uname -r 3.3.4-030304-generic-pae uptime | cut -d, -f1 15:38:37 up 19:39 I'll report back if i happen to have a freeze again the next couple days. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993333 Title: [Sandybridge] Xorg freeze To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/993333/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
