IMHO we should not implement dirty workarounds for some broken proprietary software. As a software engineer I always prefer clean solutions. If Adobe is not able to make working software, we should better think about ways to avoid using that broken software, instead of crippling our software with dirty workarounds. I'm wondering how Apple iPads work with Youtube. They don't have flash, but can play all Youtube videos without restrictions.
