I have upgraded the kernel as requested and things have been working mostly smooth for a while.
However, I had a crash today, with a totally different error message: May 6 14:01:57 redemption kernel: [22446.154049] show_signal_msg: 27 callbacks suppressed May 6 14:01:57 redemption kernel: [22446.154054] pool[3766]: segfault at 6a01000082 ip 00007f02e45fa7c0 sp 00007f02dcce0af8 error 4 in libgobject-2.0.so.0.3200.1[7f02e45c9000+4d000] I am going to assume that this error is not related to the new kernel and update this ticket accordingly. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing ** Tags added: kernel-fixed-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993941 Title: [drm:drm_mode_getfb] *ERROR* invalid framebuffer id - fail resume from hybernate To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/993941/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
