IMHO it would be great to abandon the 'fake' 64 bit deb of acroread, fix multiarch and let ia32-libs disappear.
Incidentally, note that acroread in kde relies on the gtk engine qtcurve and that i386 gtk engines do not seem to be installable in precise 64bit.
