No, I have only used package manager and/or the add/remove command as well as the update tool. I have been trying to get dvd video to work and flash plugin. Everything else works - but when I need to use flash player to view videos Flash will not install and dvd video will not play - so have been seeking work arounds. There are information training videos for Ubuntu, Sun and other deveopment sources where I need to be able to view videos.
When attempting to download and install package, this problem cropped up. ----- Original Message ---- From: Caspar Clemens Mierau <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, June 14, 2007 1:43:40 AM Subject: [Bug 120354] Re: _cache->open() failed, please report. Thank you. Have you ever edited this file manually? As you see the first line starting with a # breaks, so the word "newer" is written on the second line though it should still be on the first line. Maybe you have changed/added sources with a text editor? -- _cache->open() failed, please report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/120354 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Finding fabulous fares is fun.
