I also have this issue. I tried downgrading the nVidia drivers to 295.33 but I still have the problem. I manage to reproduce it systematically when playing Flash videos in Chrome either from Youtube or Vimeo, it's guaranteed to crash with an 11 signal, then back to LightDM login screen. I'm running an x86_64 version of Ubuntu 12.04 with a Quadro FX 3700 graphics card.
