Right, it never goes away. However, what you're calling a "bubble" is actually a dialog window. The name "bubble" brings to mind the picture of something less substantial than a full-blow dialog box. More along the lines of a hovering shape with rounded corners, a little bit of text, no widgets, perhaps less than complete opacity, and no user interaction required for it to disappear. Makes me wonder if we're seeing the same thing.
