I'm getting upset because you are focusing all of your energy on blaming my equipment and ignoring the real problem! You're not even troubleshooting anything, you're just guessing!
So answer me this. Why does it boot fine using 10.10 and fails on 12.04? Don't you think that MAYBE that might be a clue!? Possibly?? Maybe?? *waves red flag in air* The downloaded iso is fine. ubuntu-12.04-server-i386.iso is: 32184a83c8b5e6031e1264e5c499bc03 My downloaded copy is: 32184a83c8b5e6031e1264e5c499bc03 Perfect match. The USB drives are not damaged. 2. The iso is not damaged. 2 Different drives, 2 different installers, 2 different computers, 100% failure! My instinct tells me the installer is trying to load a driver that is not present in the iso. That's the error we are seeing. Is there any kind of logging that can be turned on to see why it is failing? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/998292 Title: Unable to install Ubuntu 12 Server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/998292/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
