Update on my bug report above ... Wireless crashes occur when on home network. Solution for now... reboot Westell Model 327W wireless router and reboot computer. Boot computer using ethernet connection, then transfer to wireless. This USUALLY works.
If I go to the library, wireless works flawlessly but received signal is very weak, even though transmitted signal is very strong. After I come home, wireless once initiallized flawlessly. ???
