Public bug reported: >From Ubuntu questions: "I launched gimp 2.8 from the dash. the program opens as expected and the app icon appears for about 1 second in the launcher and then disappears. When I minimize the gimp window, it goes toward the launcher and then disappears. With no gimp app icon in the launcher, I cannot open the gimp app window again. My only recourse is to go to the dash and launch gimp again.
I think the gimp app icon should remain in the launcher as long as the gimp app is open." Same problem in my case. ** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1003036 Title: Gimp is missing on Launcher even if it's open To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/1003036/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
