Hello! Thanks so much for the SRU upload, and for adding a test case to the bug description.
While reviewing the upload to precise-proposed, it strikes me that this is a very large patch which basically adds a feature. Its not clear to me that the impact of this missing feature is high enough to warrant an update. Its also not clear at all what the source of this patch is.. has it been submitted upstream for instance? Can you please add the necessary "Impact" AND "Regression Potential" fields, as stated here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates And discuss the origin of this patch, and its status upstream?
