Dave Lentz ~"It used to operate the way you describe, but some people didn't like that and decided to change it." You are incorrect, it does indeed operate as described.
I would assume that clicking the "Close" button on any app would "Close" the application, not keep going. As in the OP's statement, not only does the app keep playing music, but there is no "Tray" icon (at least not in Unity). One has to go to the Dash, find the program and start it again...then click "pause" then "close"...though I am not sure that actually "closes" the app (ie. removing the app from RAM). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995788 Title: rhythmbox music player keeps playing after being closed down To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/995788/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
