Public bug reported:
The problem occured due to Ubuntu became unreaspondable, which happen
often. I was forced to kill xorg service with top command.
After xorg came up, it was only running 1024zx768, and it reported it
was unable to use 1680x1050 for my screen, even it has run that many
times. I can't choose that setting any more. I did remove and install
the NVIDIA drivers again, with no success...
