I know that this may ont help with a fix, but it might help others
looking for a workaround.
I have a HP Color LaserJet 3600. I am running 12.04.
I was using this driver:
HP Color LaserJet 3600 Foomatic/pxljr (en)
On every print I was getting only:
PCL XL error
Subsystem :KERNEL
Error: IllegalTag
Operator: 0x45
Position: 7
I switched to:
HP Color LaserJet 3600, hpcups 3.12.2
I am printing fine now.
I have the following libjpeg installed:
libjpeg62 6b1-2ubuntu1
libjpeg8 8c-2ubuntu7
libjpeg-turbo8 1.1.90+svn733-0ubuntu4
