Since the bug many people are experiencing is related to hard freezes where you *cannot* move the mouse anymore or ssh the machine, maybe a new bug should be opened with these directions in the title, and then people should be directed from this thread to that thread instead. I confirm that I am still experiencing this issue with kernel 3.4.0-030400-generic, that there is no obvious trigger (most of the times it happens while the computer is on at night or while I am at work and nobody is using it), that it happened with KDE as well as Unity. I have a new Vostro V131 which, I believe, is a Sandy bridge(?). Are most of the people with *this* version of the bug running Intel systems with integrated graphic card? I would like to understand what we have in common. It would be a first step.
