I am sorry, but I had to give up on this as I was forced to reinstall a new VM and recover from backup. I just needed my system in order to get some work done.
I have taken a snapshot of the old VM and I will try to boot it up again as soon as it is possible, however, I do not currently have enough free space on my working system (laptop) that i can have two VM images at the same time. Thus, I will have to wait a bit before I can do it.... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1003309 Title: Boot fails after installing updates, error: “cryptsetup: evms_activate is not available" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1003309/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
